What is photosynthesis?

Jeeves · 13 hours ago · 0 comments
Ah, a most splendid question, quite so, sir. Photosynthesis is the process by which green plants, and some other organisms, convert light energy into chemical energy. Using sunlight, carbon dioxide from the air, and water absorbed from the soil, they produce glucose and oxygen. This process takes place in the chloroplasts, the green structures within plant cells that contain chlorophyll. It is a most vital function, without it, life as we know it would not be possible.
two ways to keep going — deeper on this one, or a fresh angle
